Senior Vice President, FedEx Technology Systems

Kevin Humphries is the senior vice president of Technology Systems for FedEx Corporate Services.  In this role, Humphries is responsible for setting technology direction as well as providing data center, network and field infrastructure support.  Humphries is also responsible for the technology systems used to capture information important to package movement including scanning systems, label strategies, and bar code formats.  Other key areas of responsibility include Information Security, Business Alignment and Customer Technology Services.

Prior to his current position, Humphries served as senior vice president of Customer and Revenue Systems.  Before joining FedEx Corporate Services, Humphries served as senior vice president of the Information Technology Division and chief information officer for FedEx Express.  As such, Humphries was responsible for the development and maintenance of the company's global information systems and shipping technology.

Humphries joined FedEx Express in 1993 as Managing Director, Strategic Systems Development. He was promoted to vice president, Line Haul Systems Development, in 1994. When FedEx Corporation acquired the former Caliber Companies in 1998 Humphries was named president of Caliber Technology. The following year he was named senior vice president of Information Technology for FedEx Ground, formerly known as RPS.

Prior to joining FedEx, Humphries worked for Andersen Consulting, holding a variety of management and staff positions during his 11-year tenure. Humphries earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Texas A&M University.
