Joey is an attorney with Butler Snow O'Mara Stevens & Cannada, PLLC. Joey's primary areas of practice include public and private securities offerings, including SEC registered offerings; securities regulation; mergers and acquisitions; venture capital and private equity transactions; and corporate formations. Joey's civic involvement includes serving on the board of directors of Hope House Day Care Center; the board of directors of Memphis Literacy Council; the Young at Art Steering Committee; the allocations subcommittee of the United Way of the Mid-South; and past chairman of the board of directors of Hands on Memphis. Joey is a graduate of the Leadership Academy Masters Program, and a graduate of the Memphis Bar Association Leadership Forum. Joey received a J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Mississippi, where he was Associate Articles Editor for the Mississippi Law Journal. Joey received his B.A. in business administration from Rhodes College.
